Overview
MedXnet™ is a medical, legal and business document management solution for use in environments where documents must be peer reviewed or management reviewed prior to general use and availability.
All organizational documents can be managed by MedXnet™ including Hospital Orders, Physician Orders, forms for hospital departments, policies and procedures.
In hospitals, many Quality Assurance departments find it time-consuming and difficult to keep document management up-to-date; MedXnet™ manages the chore and helps assure the right document is available to the staff at all times.
For medical practices, a smaller version called Lizard maintains the correct version of Policies and Procedures for the entire practice.
For legal firms, having the latest and approved document is instrumental for confidentiality and litigation preparation.

With MedXnet™, contributors within or outside of your organization can submit documents for posting to a secure Intranet.
Upon submission, the system allows the Contributor to specify which Departments or Users should review the document, the suggested category where the document will reside and a list of keywords associated with the document. After the document is accepted, the specified Reviewers or the Gatekeeper (if used) may add additional reviewers as needed.
In many environments, it is important to track all reviewer comments and changes. MedXnet™ records all changes to the document and allows reviewers to record comments. Upon approval by all reviewers, the system produces a non-editable version of the document, places it into the desired category and makes it available on the Intranet.
For standard users, such as a nurse on a hospital floor, a simple search interface is provided. The user enters the search term and a list of matching documents is provided. MedXnet™ provides an option to show documents with similar sounding spellings as the search terms provided by the user. The system can search thousands of documents in fractions of a second.
Users can add documents to the personal library so a search is not required for commonly used documents.
